THE ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM
Now that we’ve discussed what CBD and the other cannabinoids are, let’s talk about how and what they interact with. When supplementing cannabinoids into your regiment it activates a system known as The Endocannabinoid System. The Endocannabinoid System is a group of endogenous cannabinoid receptors located in the mammalian brain and throughout the central and peripheral nervous systems, consisting of neuromodulatory lipids and their receptors. Meaning, these receptors are throughout our entire body and help our overall body function. With 37 thousand billion chemical reactions per second in the human body, wouldn’t you want these reactions to perform at their best, so the regeneration of new cells are properly supported by Cannabinol to function effectively throughout the body.
What does the Endocannabinoid System Consist of?
Within this system you have two different types of Cannabinoid receptors known as CB1 and CB2. The diagram below shows where these receptors are found throughout your body.
As you can see CB1 and CB2 receptors are known to exist in every major system of our bodies. What researchers have found is that this system has an ability to help regulate the natural functioning in these body parts, promoting what is known as homeostasis (when everything is working as it should) when activated.
It is important to educate yourself on the natural benefits of CBD and at Flow Supplements, you can buy CBD; low costs but high quality. Don’t be fooled by other companies trying to sell you lesser quality for higher prices.
